Isaac

de los Reyes

Isaac de los Reyes is one of the top flamenco dancers of his generation. The son of flamenco masters Ramón de los Reyes and Clara Ramona, he was dancing as soon as he could walk. He trained in flamenco and ballet at the legendary Amor de Dios in Madrid. He has toured as a soloist with the companies of El Guito, Joaquin Grilo, Antonio Canales, and Ballet Antonio Gades, among others, and also toured with the group of legendary flamenco singer/composer Enrique Morente.

Isaac is known for his emotionally expressive dance, exquisitely clear footwork, and complex rhythms, and he seamlessly mixes flamenco, ballet and contemporary dance, creating an elegant but raw style that is both highly personal and deeply rooted in tradition.  He performs regularly in important flamenco clubs throughout Spain including Casa Patas and Cardamomo, and over the past year has performed in the US at the Fountain Theater in Los Angeles, at Berklee College of Music in Boston, and as guest artist at the premiere of his brother Nino de los Reyes' Inside at Joe's Pub in New York City.

An experienced teacher with a broad knowledge of all aspects of flamenco, Isaac has taught classes and workshops worldwide to dancers at all levels of experience.
